Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri رضي الله عنه narrates from the Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "When any one of you offers his prayer in the mosque, he should also keep a portion of his prayer for his house. For indeed, Allah Almighty brings goodness and blessing to his house because of his prayer." This narration has been reported by Abu Khalid Ahmar, Abu Mu'awiyah, and 'Abdah bin Sulayman, etc., each with their own chains, from Sayyiduna Jabir رضي الله عنه, and they did not mention Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id رضي الله عنه.
«إِذِاللَّهُجَلَّوَعَلَايَجْعَلُفِيبَيْتِالْمُصَلِّيمِنْصَلَاتِهِخَيْرًا» The report of Ibn Umar: «اجْعَلُوامِنْصَلَاتِكُمْفِيبُيُوتِكُمْ» indicates that he only commanded that part of the prayer be performed in the houses, not all of it.
