(90) بَابُ ذِكْرِ خَبَرٍ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِجَازَةِ الْوُضُوءِ بِالْمُدِّ مِنَ الْمَاءِ "Chapter 90: Report on the Prophet’s allowance of ablution with a mudd of water
Hadith Q116
أَوْهَمَ بَعْضَ الْعُلَمَاءِ أَنَّ تَوْقِيتَ الْمُدِّ مِنَ الْمَاءِ لِلْوُضُوءِ تَوْقِيتٌ لَا يَجُوزُ الْوُضُوءُ بِأَقَلَّ مِنْهُ
Some scholars have imagined that specifying the amount of one mudd of water for ablution is such a determination that it is not permissible to perform ablution with less water than this.
