Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
(408) بَابُ الْأَذَانِ لِلصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ ذَهَابِ الْوَقْتِ وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْإِقَامَةُ تُجْزِئُ408 Chapter: Adhan for Prayer after Its Time Has Passed, Even If Iqamah Alone Would Suffice.
Hadith 997
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَسَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيُنٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا فِي سَفَرٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي نَوْمِهِمْ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، وَقَالَ : ثُمَّ " نَادَى بِالصَّلاةِ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ "
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he related the hadith about missing the prayer due to sleep and said that then the call to prayer (adhan) was given for the prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led the people in prayer until the sun had risen.
