Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
(404) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِعَادَةِ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي قَدْ نَامَ عَنْهَا404 Chapter: Evidence That the Prophet (peace be upon him) Commanded Repeating the Missed Prayer.
Hadith 992
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلاةً ، أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا ، فَكَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " . حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ بِمِثْلِهِ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets to perform a prayer or sleeps through it (without performing it), its expiation is that he should offer it as soon as he remembers."
