(384) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي السَّفَرِ384 Chapter: Permission to Combine Maghrib and Isha While Traveling.
Hadith 965
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ " وَقَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he (peace be upon him) was in a hurry during travel, he (peace be upon him) would combine and perform the Maghrib and Isha prayers together. Janab Yahya narrated the words "Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)" instead of "Prophet (peace be upon him)".
