(383) بَابُ ذِكْرِ خَبَرٍ احْتَجَّ بِهِ بَعْضُ مَنْ خَالَفَ الْحِجَازِيِّينَ فِي إِزْمَاعِ الْمُسَافِرِ مَقَامَ أَرْبَعٍ أَنَّ لَهُ قَصْرَ الصَّلَاةِ383 Chapter: Mentioning a Report Used by Some Who Differed from the People of Hijaz Regarding the Traveler Intending to Stay Four Days and His Right to Shorten the Prayer.
Hadith 959
فَإِنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى ، وَعَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ دَخَلَهَا مِنْ أَعْلاهَا ، وَخَرَجَ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهَا " . هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُوسَى
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter Makkah Mukarramah, he would enter from its upper part, and (when he would leave) he would leave from its lower part.
