(370) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ الِاسْتِعْجَالِ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ قَبْلَ الْفَرَاغِ مِنْهُ عِنْدَ حُضُورِ الصَّلَاةِ370 Chapter: Prohibition of Rushing from Food before Finishing When Prayer Is Due.
Hadith 936
نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزْعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى طَعَامٍ فَلا يَعْجَلَنَّ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاةُ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "When any one of you is eating food, he should not hurry until he has fulfilled his need and requirement, even if (during this time) the prayer is established."
