(367) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ دُخُولِ الْحَاقِنِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَالْأَمْرِ بِبَدْءِ الْغَائِطِ قَبْلَ الدُّخُولِ فِيهَا367 Chapter: Prohibition of Entering Prayer While Needing to Relieve Oneself, and Command to Relieve Oneself First.
Hadith 932
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، نَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، نَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَرْقَمِ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَؤُمُّ قَوْمَهُ ، فَجَاءَ وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، فَقَالَ : لَيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ وَحَضَرَ الْغَائِطُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْغَائِطِ " هَذَا حَدِيثُ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ ، وَمَعْنَى مَتْنِ أَحَادِيثِهِمْ سَوَاءٌ
It is narrated from Urwah that he reports from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to lead his people in prayer. (One day) he came and the iqamah had already been pronounced, so he said, "Let one of you lead the prayer, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'When the time for prayer comes and there is also a need to relieve oneself, then first relieve yourself of urine or stool.'" This is the hadith of Abu Kuraib, while the meaning of the text of the hadiths of all the narrators is the same.
