Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أبواب الأفعال المكروهة فى الصلاة التى قد نهي عنها المصليChapters on Disliked Acts in Prayer
(358) بَابُ كَرَاهَةِ التَّثَاؤُبِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِذْ هُوَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَالْأَمْرِ بِكَظْمِهِ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ الْمُصَلِّي358 Chapter: Dislike of Yawning in Prayer as It Is from Satan, and Command to Suppress It as Much as Possible.
Hadith 920
نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، نَا الْعَلاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " التَّثَاؤُبُ فِي الصَّلاةِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ، فَإِذَا تَثَاوَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْظِمْ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yawning in prayer is from Satan, so if any one of you feels the urge to yawn, he should try to restrain it as much as possible.
