(353) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ تَحْرِيكِ الْحَصَا بِلَفْظِ خَبَرٍ مُجْمَلٍ غَيْرِ مُفَسَّرٍ353 Chapter: Prohibition of Moving Pebbles in Prayer, with a General Unexplained Report.
Hadith 914
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلاةِ فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ ، فَلا تُحَرِّكُوا الْحَصَى "
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you stands in prayer, the mercy of the Lord turns towards him, so do not move the pebbles." (Do not turn your attention to things other than the prayer.)
