Abu Sahba said: We were with Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) when he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading the people in prayer when two girls from Banu Abdul Muttalib came, quarreling and fighting. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) caught hold of them and separated one from the other, then he did not pay any attention to it (i.e., he continued his prayer). Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I have already dictated on previous pages that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you is praying, he should not allow anyone to pass in front of him, and if he refuses (to stop), then he should fight him, for he is a devil."
