Hadith 870

In the narration of Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), it is mentioned that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) would not look here and there during the prayer. Then, when the people clapped excessively, he turned his attention and saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) seated in the row. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) signaled to him to continue the prayer. I have already mentioned this narration in full before.
