(317) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْكَلَامَ الَّذِي لَا يَجُوزُ التَّكَلُّمُ بِهِ فِي غَيْرِ الصَّلَاةِ،317 Chapter: Evidence That Speech Not Permitted Outside Prayer Is Not Permitted in Prayer.
Hadith 864
نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلاةَ ، وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ ، فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فِي الصَّلاةِ : اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَمُحَمَّدًا ، وَلا تَرْحَمْ مَعَنَا أَحَدًا ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِلأَعْرَابِيِّ : " لَقَدْ تَحَجَّرْتَ وَاسِعًا " يُرِيدُ رَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) established the prayer, we also stood with him. Then a Bedouin man supplicated in the prayer like this: "O Allah, have mercy on me and on Muhammad (peace be upon him), and do not have mercy on anyone else along with us." When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, he said to the Bedouin: "You have made Allah’s vast mercy narrow."
