(316) بَابُ ذِكْرِ مَا خَصَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،316 Chapter: What Allah Almighty Made Specific to His Prophet (peace be upon him).
Hadith 863
فَحَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ مِنْ كِتَابِ شُعْبَةَ ، وَثنا يَحْيَى ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى ، قَالَ : مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي ، فَدَعَانِي بِمِثْلِهِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَعْظَمُ سُورَةٍ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id bin Ma‘la (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me while I was praying, so he (peace be upon him) called me. He narrated the hadith similar to the one mentioned above, but in this narration, instead of "the most virtuous surah," the words "the greatest surah" are used.
