(299) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ التَّسْبِيحِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ الْمَرْءِ مَسْأَلَةَ حَاجَةٍ يَسْأَلُهَا رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَا يُرْجَى فِي ذَلِكَ مِنَ الِاسْتِجَابَةِ299 Chapter: Permissibility of Saying "Subhanallah," "Alhamdulillah," and "Allahu Akbar" in Prayer When One Wants to Ask Allah for Something and the Hope for Answer.
Hadith 850
نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، عَلِّمْنِي كَلِمَاتٍ أَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي صَلاتِي قَالَ : " سَبِّحِي اللَّهَ عَشْرًا ، وَاحْمَدِيهِ عَشْرًا ، وَكَبِّرِيهِ عَشْرًا ، ثُمَّ سَلِيهِ حَاجَتَكِ ، يُقَلْ : نَعَمْ ، نَعَمْ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), teach me some words that I may recite as supplication in my prayer." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite « سُبْحَانَ اللَٰه » ten times, « الحَمْدُ لِلَٰه » ten times, and « اللهُ أَكْبَرُ » ten times, then ask for your need and requirement, and He will say: Yes, yes (your supplication and request is accepted)."
