جماع أبواب سترة المصليChapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
Hadith 800
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي الْحَنَفِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي صَدَقَةُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُصَلِّ إِلا إِلَى سُتْرَةٍ ، وَلا تَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْتُقَاتِلْهُ ؛ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْقَرِينَ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should only pray facing a sutrah, and do not let anyone pass in front of you. If he does not comply (and tries to pass), then fight him, for there is a companion (Satan) with him."
