The Imam, through his esteemed teachers, Janab Bundar and Abu Musa, narrates from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (praying in a silk cloak). Both esteemed teachers did not mention Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). And this is correct. The mention of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in this narration is an error. Indeed, the correct version is that it is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir, who says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
