جماع أبواب اللباس فى الصلاةChapters on Clothing in Prayer
(260) بَابُ ذِكْرِ اشْتِمَالِ الْمَنْهِيِّ عَنْهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ تَشَبُّهًا بِفِعْلِ الْيَهُودِ، وَهُوَ تَجْلِيلُ الْبَدَنِ كُلِّهِ بِالثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ.260 Chapter: Mentioning the Prohibited Wrapping in Prayer Imitating the Jews, Which is Covering the Whole Body with One Garment.
Hadith 769
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، نا سَعِيدٌ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، فَلْيَشُدَّهُ عَلَى حَقْوِهِ ، وَلا تَشْتَمِلُوا كَاشْتِمَالِ الْيَهُودِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثُ ابْنِ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you prays in a single garment, he should tie it around his waist, and do not wrap it like the wrapping of the Jews." This is the hadith of Ibn Abu Safwan.
