(257) بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ الْوَاسِعِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِ الْمُصَلِّي مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ بِذِكْرِ خَبَرٍ مُجْمَلٍ غَيْرِ مُفَسَّرٍ.257 Chapter: Prohibition of Praying in a Wide Single Garment with Nothing Covering the Shoulders, with a General Unexplained Report.
Hadith 765
نا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ " . غَيْرُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ ، قَالَ : عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should ever pray in a single garment in such a state that none of it is on his shoulder." Abdul Jabbar narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and says that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates a marfu' hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
