(243) بَابُ جَامِعِ الدُّعَاءِ بَعْدَ السَّلَامِ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ.243 Chapter: Comprehensive Supplications after Salam at the End of Prayer.
Hadith 744
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ آدَمَ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، أنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَغْدُو إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَيَجِيءُ الرَّجُلُ وَتَجِيءُ الْمَرْأَةُ ، فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ أَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ ؟ قَالَ : " قُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ، وَارْحَمْنِي ، وَاهْدِنِي ، وَعَافِنِي ، وَارْزُقْنِي ، فَقَدَ جَمَعَ لَكَ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتَكَ "
Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ashja'i narrates from his noble father that we used to come to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the morning, and men and women would come to him and ask, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), when I have performed the prayer, which supplication should I recite?" He (peace be upon him) said: "Recite this" « اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاھْدِنِی وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي » "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me."
