(201) بَابُ التَّسْبِيحِ فِي السُّجُودِ.Chapter 201: Saying "Subhanallah" in prostration
Hadith 668
نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، وَسَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ صِلَةَ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي رُكُوعِهِ : " سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الْعَظِيمِ " ثَلاثًا ، وَفِي سُجُودِهِ : " سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الأَعْلَى " ثَلاثًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite « سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الْعَظِيمِ » three times in his bowing (ruku‘) and « سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي الْأَعْلَى » three times in his prostration (sujud).
