(198) بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنْ نَقْرَةِ الْغُرَابِ فِي السُّجُودِ.Chapter 198: Prohibition of pecking like a crow in prostration
Hadith 662
نا بُنْدَارٌ ، نا يَحْيَى ، وَأَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَقْرَةِ الْغُرَابِ قَالَ سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ : فِي الْفَرَائِضِ ، وَقَالا جَمِيعًا : ، وَافْتِرَاشِ السَّبُعِ ، وَأَنْ يُوَطِّنَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَكَانَ ، كَمَا يُوَطِّنَهُ الْبَعِيرُ "
Hazrat Abdul Hameed bin Jafar narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade pecking like a crow. Janab Salm bin Junadah says that in obligatory prayers (pecking is prohibited). Both teachers of the Imam, Janab Salm bin Junadah and Bundar, said that (the Prophet, peace be upon him) forbade sitting with arms spread out like a beast, and prevented a person from designating a fixed place like a camel.
