(197) بَابُ طُولِ السَّجْدَةِ وَالتَّسْوِيَةِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَبَيْنَ الْقِيَامِ بَعْدَ رَفْعِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ.Chapter 197: Lengthening the prostration and making it equal to bowing and standing after bowing
Hadith 660
نا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ ، وَسَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ الأَحْنَفِ ، عَنْ صِلَةَ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ فِي رَكْعَةٍ الْبَقَرَةَ ، وَالنِّسَاءَ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ، فَكَانَ رُكُوعُهُ مِثْلَ قِيَامِهِ ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَكَانَ سُجُودُهُ مِثْلَ رُكُوعِهِ "
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that one night I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he narrated the rest of the hadith and stated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited « سورۃ البقره » and « سورۃ النساء » in one rak'ah. Then when he bowed (ruku‘), his ruku‘ was as long as his standing (qiyam). Then when he prostrated (sajdah), his sajdah was as long as his ruku‘.
