Hadith 614
نا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغَافِقِيُّ ، أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ يَحْيَى الزُّرَقِيّ حَدَّثَهُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّدَفِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَنَّ مَالِكًا حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُجْمِرِ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى الزُّرَقِيِّ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عِبَادَةَ ، نا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ يَحْيَى الزُّرَقِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : كُنَّا يَوْمًا نُصَلِّي وَرَاءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ ، قَالَ : " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ " ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَرَاءَهُ : رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنِ الَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ آنِفًا ؟ " ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ : أَنَا ، فَقَالُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ بِضْعَةً وَثَلاثِينَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَهَا أَيُّهُمْ يَكْتُبُهَا أَوَّلا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then when he raised his head from bowing (ruku’), he said: « سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ », so a man standing behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this supplication: « رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ » “O our Lord, to You belongs all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise (is for You).” Then when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, he asked: “Who just spoke?” That person replied: “I did.” So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, I saw more than thirty angels rushing to see who would write down these words first.”
