(146) بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِرَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ الرُّكُوعِ، وَعِنْدَ رَفْعِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ.Chapter 146: Evidence that the Prophet ordered raising the hands when bowing and after rising from bowing
Hadith 585
نا أبو بِشْرٌ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، أنا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى مَالِكَ بْنَ الْحُوَيْرِثِ " إِذَا صَلَّى كَبَّرَ ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ ، وَحَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي هَكَذَا "
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him) that he saw Sayyiduna Malik bin Huwairith (may Allah be pleased with him), when he would pray, he would say « اللهُ أَكْبَرُ » and raise both his hands, and when he intended to bow (ruku‘), he would raise both his hands, and when he raised his head from ruku‘, he would raise both his hands, and he stated that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray in this manner as well.
