(140) بَابُ الْجَهْرِ بِآمِينَ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي يَجْهَرُ الْإِمَامُ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ.Chapter 140: Saying "Ameen" aloud after Al-Fatihah in prayers where the imam recites aloud
Hadith 573
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الأَزْرَقُ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ ، إِنْ كَانَ حَفِظَ اتِّصَالَ الإِسْنَادِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ بِلالٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَسْبِقْنِي بِآمِينَ " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : هَكَذَا أَمْلَى عَلَيْنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ . . الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، فَقَالَ : عَنْ بِلالٍ ، وَالرُّوَاةُ إِنَّمَا يَقُولُونَ فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ : أَنَّ بِلالا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he submitted to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Do not precede me in saying Ameen." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Muhammad bin Hassan narrated this hadith to us exactly in this way: that Imam Sufyan Thawri narrates from his teacher Asim, and he from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), whereas other narrators in this chain add the teacher of Asim, Abu Uthman (and he says that) « ان بلا لا قال للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم » "Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
