Hadith 565

The Imam, through his respected teacher, Yaqub bin Ibrahim Duraqi, narrates from Abu’l-‘Aliyah a narration from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) similar to the narration of Bundar mentioned above. The difference is that in this narration, the Imam states that she used to recite this supplication several times in prostration. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have narrated this narration (in which there is an intermediary between Khalid Hadhdha’ and Abu’l-‘Aliyah) at this time out of fear that some students may become confused by the narration of Thaqafi and Khalid bin Abdullah, and may begin to consider the narration of Abdul Wahhab and Khalid bin Abdullah as authentic (even though it is disconnected).
