نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ مِينَاءَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : " سَجَدْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَفِي اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ " . وَزَعَمَ أَيُّوبُ أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ مِينَاءَ كَانَ مِنْ صَالِحِي النَّاسِ
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata bin Mina that he heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: I performed sajdah (prostration) with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in « إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انشَقَّتْ »[ سورة الإنشقاق ] and « اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ » [ سورة العلق ]. Hazrat Ayyub (may Allah have mercy on him) says that indeed Hazrat Ata bin Mina was among the righteous people.
