Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he (peace be upon him) recited « سورۃ النجم », he performed sajdah (prostration), except for one old man. He took a handful of pebbles or soil, raised it towards his forehead (and placed it on his forehead instead of prostrating), and said, "This is sufficient for me." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Indeed, I saw him later that he was killed in a state of disbelief."
