نا بُنْدَارٌ ، نا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، نا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ بِطُولَى الطُّولَيَيْنِ "
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to recite the longer of the two longest surahs in the Maghrib prayer.
