(101) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ أَنَسًا إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ بِقَوْلِهِ: لَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يَقْرَأُ: (بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ).Chapter 101: Evidence that Anas meant by his statement that he did not hear anyone recite "Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim"
Hadith 496
نا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، نا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمْ يَجْهَرْ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ سورة الفاتحة آية 1 ، وَلا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَلا عُمَرُ ، وَلا عُثْمَانُ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not recite (in prayer) with a loud voice « بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ », nor did Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) recite (with a loud voice).
