(92) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الِالْتِفَاتَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَنْقُصُ الصَّلَاةَ لَا أَنَّهُ يُفْسِدُهَا فَسَادًا يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ إِعَادَتُهَا.Chapter 92: Evidence that turning in prayer diminishes the prayer but does not invalidate it
Hadith 484
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ أَيْضًا ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ تَمَامٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، نا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الالْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " هُوَ اخْتِلاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْعَبْدِ " . وَفِي خَبَرِ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلاةِ
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about turning in prayer, so he (peace be upon him) said: "It is a snatching which Satan snatches from a servant's prayer." In the narration of Abu Al-Ahwas, it is mentioned that I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about a person's inattentiveness and looking here and there during prayer.
