نا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، نا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ، وَزَادَ وَاعْتَدَّوْا بِمَا مَضَى مِنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Companions used to pray facing Bayt al-Maqdis, then he narrated as in the above-mentioned narration and added these words: "And they counted their previous prayers."
