It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performing ablution after eating pieces of cheese. Then he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, eat the shoulder of a goat and then pray without performing ablution.

Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Perform ablution after eating anything which has been cooked by fire.

Benefits and Issues: Performing ablution (wudu) with things cooked on fire was a command in the early period of Islam, which has now been abrogated, as mentioned in the previous hadith.
