Hadith 419
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبَانَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، أَنَّ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " اثْنَتَانِ لا تُرَدَّانِ ، أَوْ قَلَّ مَا تُرَدَّانِ : الدُّعَاءُ عِنْدَ النِّدَاءِ ، وَعِنْدَ الْبَأْسِ حِينَ يَلْتَحِمُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Two supplications are not rejected, or they are very rarely rejected: the supplication made at the time of the call to prayer (adhan), and at the time of battle when they are confronting each other.”
