Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of a deed by which Allah forgives sins and increases good deeds?" The companions said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah (please do tell us)." He (peace be upon him) said: "Performing ablution completely despite hardship and difficulty, and waiting for (the next) prayer after (finishing) a prayer. Whoever among you leaves his house and offers prayer with the Imam, then sits and waits for the next prayer, the angels keep supplicating for him: 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him.'" Then the rest of the hadith was narrated. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that only Abu Asim has narrated this.
