Hadith 336
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، نا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا قِلابَةَ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ بُرَيْدَةَ الأَسْلَمِيِّ فِي غَزْوَةٍ فِي يَوْمِ غَيْمٍ ، فَقَالَ : بَكِّرُوا بِالصَّلاةِ ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلاةَ الْعَصْرِ أُحْبِطَ عَمَلُهُ " . نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ، نا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ : بِهَذَا مِثْلَهُ ، غَيْرُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ "
Hazrat Abu Mulaeeh Huzali (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that we were with Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) in jihad on a cloudy day, so he said, "Offer the (Asr) prayer quickly, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Whoever abandons the Asr prayer, his deeds are wasted.'" Imam Sahib Hussain bin Hurayth narrates with the same chain as mentioned above, with the difference in these words: « فقد حبظ عمله » "then his deeds are rendered void."
