(397) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْبَيَانِ أَنَّ بَعْضَ الْحِجْرِ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ، لَا جَمِيعَهُClarification that only part of the Hijr is from the Kaaba, not all of it.
Hadith 3022
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّازِقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، قَالَ : كَانَتِ الْكَعْبَةُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مَبْنِيَّةً بِالرَّضْمِ لَيْسَ فِيهِ مَدَرٌ ، وَكَانَتْ قَدْرُ مَا يَقْتَحِمُهَا الْعَنَاقُ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ فِي قِصَّةِ بِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ ، وَقَالَ : فَلَمَّا كَانَ جَيْشُ الْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، فَذَكَرَ حَرِيقَهَا فِي زَمَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ : إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَوْلا حَدَاثَةُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَهَدَمْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ ، فَإِنَّهُمْ تَرَكُوا مِنْهَا سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ فِي الْحِجْرِ ضَاقَتْ بِهِمُ النَّفَقَةُ وَالْخَشَبُ " ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ خُثَيْمٍ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ قِصَّةً طَوِيلَةً
Sayyiduna Abu Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the days of ignorance, the Sacred House (Baytullah) was constructed purely with stones, and no mortar, etc., was used in it. Its height was such that a young goat could leap over it. Then he narrated the complete hadith regarding the construction of the Sacred Ka'bah. And he said that when the army of Husayn bin Numayr attacked and set fire to the Sacred House during the rule of Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Indeed, Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed me that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If your people had not recently come out of disbelief, I would have demolished the Sacred Ka'bah (and included Hatim in the new construction), because the Quraysh had little expenditure and wood, so they excluded a seven-hand span portion of Hatim from the construction." Ibn Abi Mulaykah says that it is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard it from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then a long story was narrated.
