Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Makkah Mukarramah, I said to myself that I should put on my clothes. In another narration, Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Safwan narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Makkah Mukarramah and entered the Sacred House (Baytullah). I also put on my clothes and went (to see him). By that time, he had come out of the Sacred House. He and his noble companions were performing istilam (touching or gesturing) of the area between Hajar Aswad and Hatim, and they had placed their cheeks against the Sacred House. Suddenly, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the door, so I pushed myself between two men and asked, "What did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do inside the Sacred House?" They replied, "He prayed two rak‘ahs by the pillar in front of the Sacred House." This narration is from Janab Ibn Fudayl.
