(379) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الْإِدْلَاجِ بِالِارْتِحَالِ مِنَ الْحَصْبَةِ، اقْتِدَاءً بِفِعْلِ الْمُصْطَفَى- عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ-.Recommendation to travel at night when leaving al-Muhassab, following the Prophet.
Hadith 2997
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الأَسْوَدُ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : " لَقِيتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُدْلِجًا مِنَ الأَبْطَحِ ، وَهُوَ يَصْعَدُ وَأَنَا أَنْزِلُ ، أَوْ يَنْزِلُ وَأَنَا أَصْعَدُ "
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I (after completing Umrah) met the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the valley of Abtah during the last part of the night when you were ascending (towards Makkah Mukarramah) and I was descending into the valley, or you were descending and I was ascending.
