It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of departure (from Mina), the Prophet (peace be upon him) stopped at the valley of Batha after midday. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) continued to do so throughout his life. He performed the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers in the valley of Batha.
