(326) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُهَا،Clarification of the previously mentioned general statement.
Hadith 2923

وَالدَّلِيلُ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا زَجَرَ عَنْ إِعْطَاءِ الْجَازِرِ مِنْ لُحُومِ هَدْيِهِ عَلَى جِزَارَتِهَا شَيْئًا لَا أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ مِنْ لُحُومِهَا عَلَى الْجَازِرِ، لَوْ كَانَ الْجَازِرُ مِسْكِينًا.
And the explanation of the evidence that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade giving the butcher meat from the sacrifice as his wage, but if the butcher is poor and needy, then it is not forbidden to give him meat as charity.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُومَ عَلَى الْبُدْنِ ، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ لا يُعْطِيَ الْجَزَّارَ مِنْ جِزَارَتِهَا شَيْئًا " ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ وَكِيعٍ : عَلَى جِزَارَتِهَا شَيْئًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entrusted him with the management and supervision of his sacrificial camels and instructed him not to give the butcher any meat as his wages. In the narration of Janab Waki’, it is stated that nothing from the camel should be given as his wages.
