(324) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ اسْمَ الْكُلِّ قَدْ يَقَعُ عَلَى الْبَعْضِEvidence that a whole can refer to a part in terminology.
Hadith 2921
Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that in the hadith of Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that a piece from every camel's meat be put into the pot and cooked, then he ate that meat and drank its broth.
