After the narration of Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), these words are mentioned: He was asked, "Which slave is best to set free?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "The one who is more valuable and more excellent in the eyes of his owners." After this narration, it is stated: "Every thing whose loss causes a person more distress—if that thing is spent in the way of Allah, then its reward and recompense will also be much greater."
