(288) بَابُ قَدْرِ الْحَصَى الَّذِي يُرْمَى بِهِ الْجِمَارُ،Chapter: Amount of pebbles used for stoning the pillars
Hadith 2875
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ بِخَبَرٍ غَرِيبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " رَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ "
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pelted the Jamrah with pebbles the size of chickpeas.
