حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ بُنْدَارٌ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى بِمِثْلِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ حَصِينٍ ، وثنا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ حَصِينٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْعَالِيَةِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : قَالَ عَوْفٌ : لا أَدْرِي الْفَضْلَ ، أَوْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَدَاةَ الْعَقَبَةِ : " الْقُطْ لِي حَصَيَاتٍ " ، بِمِثْلِهِ سَوَاءً
Abu Al-Aliyah says that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated to me. Awf says that I do not know whether Fadl or Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me on the morning of Aqabah, "Pick up pebbles for me," and a narration similar to the above was narrated.
