(273) بَابُ التَّغْلِيسِ بِصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِChapter: Praying Fajr early at Muzdalifah on the Day of Sacrifice
Hadith 2854
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : " مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى صَلاةً إِلا لِوَقْتِهَا ، إِلا هَاتَيْنِ الصَّلاتَيْنِ رَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي الْعِشَاءَ ، وَالْمَغْرِبَ جَمِيعًا لِمُزْدَلِفَةِ وَصَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَبْلَ وَقْتِهَا بِغَلَسٍ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing every prayer at its (prescribed) time, except for these two prayers: I saw him combine Maghrib and 'Isha at Muzdalifah, and he offered the Fajr prayer before its time, in darkness.
