(272) بَابُ الْبَيْتُوتَةِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ لَيْلَةَ النَّحْرِ.Chapter: Spending the night at Muzdalifah on the night of sacrifice
Hadith 2853
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَتَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ ، فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِأَذَانٍ وَاحِدٍ وَإِقَامَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ "
Hazrat Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his noble father, who says that we presented ourselves before Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both), so I requested him to tell me about the Hajj of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that when you (the Prophet) came to Muzdalifah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) combined the Maghrib and Isha prayers with one adhan and two iqamahs. Then, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down until the break of dawn.
