Hadith 2834
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلالٍ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُكَيْنٌ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ ، فَجَعَلَ الْفَتَى يُلاحِظُ النِّسَاءَ بِمِثْلِهِ ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَصْرِفُ وَجْهَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Day of Arafat, and this young man began to look at women. Then he narrated similar to the previous narration, with only this difference: the Prophet turned his face to the other side, but did not say the words, "O my nephew."
