Hadith 2806
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سَخْبَرَةَ ، قَالَ : غَدَوْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ مِنًى إِلَى عَرَفَةَ ، وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ رَجُلا آدَمَ ، لَهُ ضَفِيرَانِ ، عَلَيْهِ مَسْحَةُ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ ، وَكَانَ يُلَبِّي ، فَاجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِ غَوْغَاءٌ مِنْ غَوْغَاءِ النَّاسِ : يَا أَعْرَابِيُّ ، إِنَّ هَذَا لَيْسَ بِيَوْمِ تَلْبِيَةٍ ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ تَكْبِيرٌ ، قَالَ : فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ وَقَالَ : " أَجَهِلَ النَّاسُ ، أَمْ نَسَوْا ؟ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا بِالْحَقِّ ، لَقَدْ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مِنًى إِلَى عَرَفَةَ ، فَمَا تَرَكَ التَّلْبِيَةَ حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةَ ، إِلا أَنْ يَخْلِطَهَا بِتَهْلِيلٍ أَوْ تَكْبِيرٍ "
Ibn Sakhbara narrates that I set out with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) from Mina towards Arafat during Hajj. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was a wheat-colored man, he had two locks of hair, and there was a mark of the villagers upon him. He was reciting the Talbiyah, so some ignorant and unknowing people gathered around him. They said, "O villager, today is not the day to recite the Talbiyah, today is the day for reciting the Takbeer." At that time, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) looked towards me and said, "Are these people ignorant or have they forgotten? By the One Who sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the truth, indeed I set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from Mina towards Arafat, and he did not stop reciting the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah. However, along with the Talbiyah, he would also recite « اللهُ أَكْبَرُ » and « لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الله »."
